Obtaining Your Participant ID

In order to sit for one of the MSSC exams,  you will need to have a Participant ID. To do so, simply follow the steps below. 

1 Open your web browser and go to www.msscusa.org. 

    2.  Click Order Now! The Order Now page will be displayed.

3.    Under Individual Registration, Click Click here… The Verification screen will be displayed.

4.    Click Don’t have an account? Click here to register. The Candidate Registration screen will be displayed.

5.    Enter your first name and last name in the appropriate fields. Click Next Step. The New Candidate Registration screen will be displayed.

6.    Complete all required fields, as marked with an Asterisk (*). Highlighted below are fields of special concern:

a.    Candidate Type: Student

b.    Classification: Post Secondary/Industrial

c.    Assessment Center: This field should have your school as a location (State College of Florida, Tallahassee Community College, or Polk State College.)

SPECIAL NOTE FOR SCF: If State College of Florida is not in the list, choose Manatee Community College.

d.    Did you take any MSSC courses? Answer No (our courses are Banner Center).

e.    Did you participate in a state or federal grant? Select Yes.

7.    A validation screen will be displayed. If the information is correct, click Next Step.  The MSSC Code of Ethics of screen will be displayed. Review the screen, and place a check next to the appropriate boxes.  Download the Certificant Handbook and review it prior to checking the first box.

8.    Click Submit. The Thank You screen will be displayed, and a note will be sent to your e-mail address which contains a link for you to click to complete the activation process.

9.    Open your e-mail, and locate the e-mail from the MSSC with the subject, MSSC Candidate Activation. Please click the link contained in the note. The link will open your web browser and display the sign-in screen for the MSSC. Please sign in with your User Name and Password you entered when creating your account.

10.  Click Login. The Welcome to the Candidate System screen will be displayed, and your Candidate Number will be found in the upper right side of the screen.
